The 'Garagistes' movement refers to an innovative group of winemakers from the Bordeaux region of France that formed in the mid 1990’s.  'Garagistes', in response to the traditional red Bordeaux wines that are high in tannin and require long bottle ageing, began producing styles of wine more in line with new world wineries.  The movement, which allowed small-time winemakers to work in boutique settings at affordable prices, grew in the early to mid 90’s when St. Emilion’s chateau de Valandraund was created in Bordeaux.

Now you can become a "Garagistes" in your own right at Camelot Cellars Boutique Winery, where our winemakers can help you create your own high quality, hand-crafted wine with beautifully designed labels, shrink-wrap and cork... Or you can design and create your own customized labels and enjoy your vintage just like the 'Garagistes'.
