Chef Ryan LaRose brings 15+ years of culinary grit to The Osteria at Camelot Cellars. Ryan’s career began in his native Sanford, FL under the guidance of mentor and Italian native, Fabrizio. He fell in love with all things Italian cuisine and found his groove in the kitchen as a pizza maker. Ryan’s passion for pizza extended to the competitive world of pizza acrobatics — yes that’s a thing— where he quickly made a name for himself after winning both national and international competitions. His culinary talents led to opportunities in Brooklyn, NY, Tampa, FL and Columbus, OH. Ryan owned and operated Leone’s Pizza in Columbus’ Salem Village from 2016-2018 and added several local awards to his collection— including “Best Traditional Pizza” (2018) & “Best Speciality Pizza” (2017 & 2018) at Slice of Columbus.
