Summer is here! Winter is over! Time to celebrate! And what better way to celebrate than with the wine of the summer: Rosé Wine!
Rosé Wine is made when the juice is strained from the grape skins before it gets too dark. This makes it “technically” a red wine (the winemaker, like myself, was probably just too impatient to get a glass.) Some believe that this type of wine has been made for over 2600 years! While we haven’t been making wine quite that long, here at Camelot, we have embraced the Rosé and even have a brand new one!
Our first is our Australian Grenache Rosé. We brought this bad boy back because we just couldn’t resist having another Rosé! This wine is lively, tart and sweet tasting with flavors of red cherries and red raspberries. It pairs well with chicken kabobs, cheese and fruits! It’s off-dry with medium body. Its vibrant color will definitely put you in a great mood for the summer!
The newest addition to the Camelot family is our California Sauvignon Blanc Rosé! It has tropical notes of pineapple and peach with raspberry and cherry. It’s refreshing and crisp flavor will be the perfect addition to a hot summer day! It pairs well with fresh seafood and slightly spiced foods. We absolutely love this new wine and know you’d love to come try it!
While not technically a Rosé, we also have our White Zinfandel! While made in a similar process as the other Rosé wines, White Zinfandel is sweeter and pinker than the dry flavor generally found in Rosé wines. Our White Zinfandel has a soft and refreshing flavor with hints of red berries.
So what are you waiting for?! Stop by for a sample, glass or bottle (or case… no judgement) of one of our many great Rosés!
You’ve finished the work week! Time to come to Camelot and celebrate with some co-workers, catch up with friends, or just try some great wine! For just $10, our staff will pick out 10 from our over 60 types of[...]
